Helping You

How Can We Make a Start?

For a firm that already has a practice manual, an initial 'desk-top' analysis of documentation is needed to identify the adequacy of current systems and to identify any gaps. An initial report at this stage will present the firm with practical suggestions on the further development work needed.  Please contact Web4Law director Matthew Moore for further details.

Consultancy Support

Support and assistance for those firms seeking accreditation is provided by Web4Law.  We have extensive experience of risk management and quality systems for law firms, and Web4Law has also been primarily responsible for the drafting of the CRQS standard.

Web4Law will be happy to assist you to work through your own retained management consultants if you prefer – for details please contact Matthew Moore.

Auditing and Assessment

Applications for CRQS certification are made to Legal Quality Assessment Ltd (LQA), a company set up to administer the audit and assessment process in respect of CRQS.    The audit process itself will be carried out on a third party basis by SGS Ltd , the repected international auditing organisation.  Where a firm wishes also to be accredited to ISO 9001 through a CRQS programme, SGS are also available to carry out the assessment for both standards on a joint basis.

In sharp contrast to other risk and quality standards, during CRQS audits, professional auditors will be accompanied by a technical auditor who will always be a leading commercial lawyer of many years experience, and whose experience will inform the assessment process.
